Registered Massage
This type of massage is best for acute or chronic pain and is the base massage an RMT will use & incorporate into other massage services. Your RMT will discuss with you what areas are hurting before treatment and will focus on relieving tension in those areas.
Sports Massage
Geared toward people with an athletic lifestyle. This type of massage is used to help prevent injuries and to prepare the body for athletic activity. Your RMT creates a tailored treatment plan to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and/or injury.
Prenatal Massage
This type of Massage is a safe way to get a massage during pregnancy to help reduce body aches, reduce stress, and ease muscle tension. This treatment is done using various bolsters or supports to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation.
Relaxation Massage
With a relaxation massage, relaxing you is the only aim. This treatment uses a variety of Swedish Massage Therapy Techniques. Indulge in a long, luxurious massage to help relieve stress, muscle tension, improve circulation and blood flow while leaving you feeling pampered and relaxed.
Dry Cupping Therapy
In combination with Registered Massage Therapy techniques, your RMT will apply silicone cups to the skin for a few minutes to create suction. The suction created by the cups increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This helps to relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow, promote cell repair & relieve associated pain. The cups can either be left in a static position or moved to provide a deep tissue massage effect.
